Just to adknowledge that post..and respect to the fella.

That was one individual..and he wasn't alone I know,..many fought for us...but many more didn't. ..I'm talking about the Country as a whole.

Sorry..dress it up all you like..you were traitors..and not to be trusted since.
Irish Guards have a long and proud history in the British Army..but they are all prods and English.
Same for Royal Irish Regiment..great war.. many Irish Catholics decided to join us..but again..the Country as a whole decided to play up and take advantage of our situation.

Paddies are good at playing the victim...fuck em.

I always thought of England as the West Ham of inIternational football ,,no disrespect but typically losing five ,one at home l'm now booking the Republic of Ireland in as the West Ham of International football.

My great-great-uncle had a 'WANTED: DEAD OR ALIVE' record put against him by the British. I know nothing more than that but he must have been a bit of a nutter.

This was when the IRA were fighting for independence in the south/mainland and when the Republic was eventually formed.

You're one of few characters on this site, Hatred son.

Not surprised you have MICK roots, in that case.

My maternal grandfather was an old IRA man. Shot at British soldiers during the Clones Affray in.1922. Hated the English and called Britain a "pagan country". Got the right hump when his daughter left for London and married an English soldier.

The Republic isn't!

Although I guess that you're referring to the fact that McClean is Northern Irish... So carry on.

Mmmm, that argument doesn't really count when you were in a group with the world powers Serbia, Wales, Austria, Georgia and Moldova!!

On the bright side for Ireland, at least all of the English players in their team ensure they finish above the Welsh.

Never been bothered by the Micks... plenty of them in the trenches in WW1 and plenty of them helped out in WW2... I mean even the Queen allows them to guard her gaff... even my 2nd fav Rugby player of all time is a full on Mick (Brian O'Driscoll)... we even misbehaved in a pub off the Holloway Road that had quite a few hoods that could have quite easily kneecapped the whole of our very unruly gobby young mob... I'm with Team Dicksie... my fellow Mick spud loving Druid...
